The temptation to draw his blade and spear what's left of the stack of pancakes is admirably resisted by Zack. Instead, he snags one with his fork, and sets about murdering it.
The hair ruffles earns a delighted grin though. It's always good to know he's doing something right, even if he's not entirely sure what it is. This time Zack has a good idea though.
"Hells yeah," is the response to the coffee. "Please," is remembered some few seconds after.
Taylor's story about her mother is met with ... probably more sympathy than one would expect from the hellspawn. In fact, at first sight, it's surprisingly similar to his own. He may be a prize as opposed to a trophy - the two are slightly different in his mind. Abe may not have directly murdered Zack's parents, but ... it all resonates, and later, he will think hard about this last part.
"I was ten. I'd starve for a century to see my parents." Translation: he doesn't blame Taylor one bit for that. "What happened to the man who killed her?" A little blunt, but he's intrigued now.
